In 1955 Thomas Church, an American garden designer, published an influential book called 'Gardens are for people'. It is a valuable text for all landscape and garden designers, but the title struck me by its simplicity. Gardens are of course for people, it is a simple truth that all garden designers should hold in mind.

With over 20 years of experience designing, building and planting, I will always keep this simple philosophy.

And as much as the site itself influences the form of the design, the people who are to use the garden - the clients - will influence so many things within it.

What I can supply are the skills and experience to make a garden that works, and can be beautiful. But the process begins and ends with the client.

And the beginning of the process is for the client to contact me……
